About the positionIf you are craving work/life balance then look no further. We operate on a 7-day rotating roster with working hours between 8:30am and 2:30pm, making this position ideal for school drop offs and social commitments. Weekend availability is required; however, you will receive penalty rates for your hard work and dedication to the position. The duties and responsibilities of the role include:Cleaning of rooms as per daily schedulingStocking of room attendant trolleysMaintain chemical containersEnsure cleanliness of storerooms and stock controlMaking beds to meet required standardVacuuming of rooms and corridors and outside doorwaysCleaning of bathrooms and amenitiesLaundry responsibilitiesMaintaining public areas, including restaurant, function rooms, and day spa.Dusting and cleaning of furniture, mirrors and glass areasDisposal of wasteThe Anchorage Hotel & Spa is busy all year round, giving you the security that you will not just be working through seasonal peaks.About youYou are dependable with impeccable standards in maintaining a clean, sanitised, tidy and pleasant environment for hotel guests and clients. You enjoy being on your feet, working hard but, most importantly, having a laugh.
