This role requires a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual with excellent mechanical technical knowledge of power generation equipment and systems.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.Repair and maintain power generation equipment at customer sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and equipment is fully operational.Conduct preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance of power generation equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing.Respond to emergency repair calls and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime for the customer.Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and expenses, and provide detailed reports to the Power Station Manager.Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.Participate in safety meetings and training programs.Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.About You:Relevant Mechanical Trade certification.Working with power generation equipment experiences preferable.Heavy Diesel Mechanical exposure advantageous.Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.Additional benefits include:Additional four days per annum of Personal Business Leave.Opportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave).Employee Retention Bonus Program.Salary continuance insurance.Rewards Gateway for our employees.Employee Referral Reward.We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
