About the role
Council is seeking experienced workers to join our Field Services team working in our open space areas.
If you are passionate about working outdoors and have experience with maintaining turf and garden areas, you will enjoy this role. Responsibilities will include operating machinery and undertaking detailed maintenance of garden and turf areas in the many parks and reserves across the city.

About you
To be successful in these roles you will have:
* Current C Class Driver Licence
* Current QLD ACDC Licence or be able to obtain within 6 months of appointment
* Q Fever immunisation
* FIT Testing for respiratory protection equipment: workers must pass a respirator fit test before they first start wearing a tight-fitting respirator and at regular intervals during their employment. Workers must be clean shaven or only have facial hair that doesn't interfere with the fitting surfaces and the valve of the respirator.
* Current MR Class Driver Licence is desirable
A pre-employment medical will be required for these roles (including drug and alcohol testing).

This is a full-time position with a salary commencing at $61,723 plus 12.5% superannuation.
