The role We are seeking an experienced and proactive specialist with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Specialist with project coordination / management experience to join our people services team. Whilst providing systems expertise and support, you will have the opportunity to participate in People & Culture projects as required. This role could be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with 50% in the office and 50% WFH. The team The Chief of Staff and Enterprise Services (ChES) division of APRA is integral to the organisation, ensuring strategic alignment, effective communication and robust governance. Within this, y ou will be part of our cohesive and collaborative People & Culture (P&C) team of around twenty professionals who deliver initiatives that are aligned with business strategy across the employee lifecycle. Our work includes the operational and the strategic to enhance the employee experience, from compensation to leadership, employee engagement, inclusion, capability development, internal mobility and performance. The People Operations team of five supports the greater P&C team. Key responsibilities Manage all facets of the Oracle HCM, including reporting, dashboards and analytics; Analyse and maintain system access ensuring appropriate controls are in place; Ensure data integrity and complete reconciliations, ensuring that checks and balances are in place for the smooth running of all people-related systems e.g. HCM, payroll, identity management system etc; Collaborate with our vendor, IT department and payroll teams on general system tasks, issues and maintenance; Educate across broader aspects of the HCM platform, particularly for workforce modelling and bulk updates; Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities to streamline the system and processes, provide recommendations and assist with the implementation of improvements; Plan and deliver upgrades, refreshes and enhancements to the HCM platform, in conjunction with our vendors; Communicate changes due to upgrades, its impact and recommend relevant opt-in features to the P&C team; and Provide support, and develop guidance and end-user training guides to the P&C team and the business on HCM processes and procedures. About you Demonstrated well developed skills and experience with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) and MS SQL; Project coordination and management experience; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to resolve queries and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Tact and discretion when handling sensitive information; Excellent time management and prioritising skills to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; and Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
