We are reliable and cost effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by working with them in ways that create and deliver value.Golding is currently seeking an experienced Safety, Health, Environment and Training (SHET) Advisor to be based at the Curragh Mine project located near Blackwater.Reporting to the SHET Superintendent, the successful candidate will have the capability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously and a demonstrated record in positively influencing key stakeholders. Additionally, the ability and willingness to complete other SHET tasks is a must, such as incident investigations, risk assessments, observations and assisting line managers.This role will operate on a 8/6 roster and Camp accommodation provided.Key role tasks:Facilitate and develop risk assessments in alignment with the project’s schedule of worksDevelop, schedule and champion a project specific SHE Monitoring Program directly informed by completed, activity specific risk assessmentsFacilitate and report on incident investigationsMonitor the effectiveness of the application of the Safety and Health, Environment and Training Management Plans on site and provide advice to the Project Manager on possible improvement initiativesNotify, classify and record in the incident database all incidents that occur on the project such that a complete and accurate incident record existsConduct audits, inspections and observations to demonstrate visible safety leadership and sound audit practiceMonitor and report on the implementation of project SHE and Training management plans and the SHET Activity Planner (including identified corrective actions) to the Project Manager as requiredMaintain all project SHET registers such that they are accurate and up to dateContribute to SHE risk-based content within planned project communication forumsAssess compliance with site access requirements and facilitate inductions technical input into investigation reports and lead significant investigations where requiredDevelop content, provide input, and where required deliver SHET information (including inductions), in accordance with the requirements of the sustainability systemsContribute to broader Golding SHE improvement programsKey capability requirements:Relevant Diploma level qualification or equivalent experienceMinimum two years mining site-based experienceDemonstrated ability to lead and facilitate risk assessments associated with mining workExperience in auditing, incident reporting and incident investigation is mustWhy Join Golding:Employee-Centric Success: Our success is driven by the diverse talents and initiatives of our employees.Core Values: We operate with integrity and honesty, guided by our core values.Commitment to Excellence: We prioritize safety, respect for the environment, and quality assurance in all our operations.Embark on a fulfilling career journey with Golding by applying online below.We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
