About the Company
ACRWORLD is proud to partner with NORDEX Group in managing the recruitment of their Service team for the prestigious MacIntyre Wind Farm in QLD.
Nordex Group (Nordex) is a global wind turbine OEM with decades of experience in designing, constructing and operating wind turbines, delivering more than 50 GW of sustainable energy generation worldwide. NORDEX operates in more than 40 countries, including manufacturing facilities in Germany, Spain, China, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and India. As the 4th largest wind turbine manufacturer globally (excluding China), we specialise in optimising energy costs, enhancing site performance, and ensuring on-time project delivery. With over 10,000 employees, NORDEX is well-positioned to support your next wind energy project.
Nordex Oceania Pty Ltd, the Australian subsidiary of NORDEX Group, was established to strengthen our global presence and serve major wind energy markets around the world. Operating in Australia for the past six years, NORDEX has made significant strides in developing a local workforce for the Australian wind industry. Notable past projects include the 35-turbine Mortlake South Wind Farm (VIC) and the 44-turbine Mt Gellibrand Wind Farm (VIC), both of which have made positive contributions to local communities.
The MacIntyre Wind Farm, with 162 Nordex Delta 4000-N163/5.7 turbines and a total output of 924MW, will be NORDEX's largest wind farm globally and one of the largest onshore wind farms in the world. Once completed, the facility will generate enough renewable energy to power over 700,000 households, avoiding nearly 3 million tonnes of CO2 emissions, and driving significant economic growth across the Goondiwindi, Southern Downs, and Toowoomba Regional Council areas.
