We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Trainer and Assessor to join our team, focusing on the delivery of the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations. This role is based in Melbourne.About the RoleThe Trainer/Assessor will play a key role in delivering and assessing the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations and other associated qualifications as part of a nationally recognised RTO. This position involves a combination of face-to-face, online, and blended learning approaches.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality training and assessment for the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations and other RTO courses as required.Facilitate webinars and provide ongoing support, advice, and guidance to enrolled and prospective students.Ensure timely follow-ups with students to encourage progression and successful completion of their training programs.Collaborate with RTO administration and recruitment teams to manage student enrolment and results updates.Plan, organise, and participate in Professional Development and Continuous Improvement activities.Assist in reviewing and improving course content to ensure compliance and relevance, providing structured feedback for enhancements.Travel to client and airport locations for course delivery, professional development, and compliance reviews as required.Participate in RTO validation and compliance activities to maintain high standards in training delivery and student satisfaction.Minimum Criteria:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40122 (or equivalent qualification).Certificate II in Security Operations - CPP20218Valid Private Security Individual License with Trainer Activity endorsement.Experience in delivering CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations or equivalent qualifications.Demonstrated expertise in the security industry with up-to-date practical knowledge of security equipment and procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience facilitating webinars and online training sessions confidently and effectively.Job Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hourBenefits:Professional development assistanceReferral programSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)Licence/Certification:Driver Licence (Preferred)Private Security Individual License (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
