On behalf of our retail wellbeing client, Talent Butler is excited to present this highly rewarding and attractive Property Network Development Manager opportunity.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate the role will be key to support the growth of the retail property footprint throughout QLD and support the wider business ambition to service the needs of Australian customers.
The ideal candidate should align with the company mission, core values, and strategic goals, demonstrating effective business initiative, and possess the required expertise to manage broker and property relationships, site identification and site lease negotiation.
The team equally share in the success of delivering new openings, therefore cohesiveness and a shared commitment to grit are expected from everyone. The role will work closely with the Marketing, Operations and Delivery Teams to ensure high levels of communication and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying site opportunities within identified catchments throughout the Brisbane and wider QLD market.
* Use of the internal system to log, document and administer opportunities.
* Prepare site presentations and feasibility reports
* Attend meetings with Head of Real Estate and Delivery Manager to ensure cohesive strategies.
* Set monthly site funnel targets with Head of Real Estate which include a detailed build up to achieving targets.
* Work with Head of Real Estate and Marketing team to distribute a property pack which would include new openings, target catchments, brand success.
* Network within the real estate industry, partnering with agents, brokers and landlords to assist in new site location opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* A self-starter mentality is key as you will be somewhat solo for most of your working day, except when interacting with stakeholders.
* Ideally having some real estate tertiary education, though not essential depending on how much practical experience you have.
* Proven experience in real estate leasing and development within a fast-paced commercial environment.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage property lease agreements, site qualifications, and feasibility processes.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, meet lease execution targets, and align with strategic objectives.
* Alignment with the business core values to ensure a seamless integration into the company's culture.
* Willingness to travel throughout QLD (own transport essential)
What is on offer?
A competitive salary to suit experience; this role may appeal to those with only a foundation of real estate experience, to someone with 10+ years, we are open to considering all suited candidates.
The role also provides for very high levels of autonomy with perhaps only 1-2 days per week based in the group offices which are 30 minutes North of Brisbane.
In-person interviews will commence in Brisbane on Tuesday the 3rd of December with the role to start in the New Year.
