Your New Opportunity: We're searching for a reliable individual with a positive attitude to join our Customer Service team based in Wingfield, SA. This is a Casual role to start as soon as possible, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our growing Recycling & Waste Pillar, and you will join a great team to assist with delivering the required outcomes from a customer service and sales perspective.Hours of work are across a Monday to Saturday roster, typically between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and between the hours of 6am and 4pm every second Saturday. You will have key responsibility in: Ensuring correct classification, ticketing, charging and destination of waste received at the depot, as well as the dispatching and ticketing of outbound materials;Liaising directly with the allocator to monitor daily deliveries;Inspecting loads to check for any non-conforming products;Understanding and abiding by the requirements of EPA License, National heavy vehicle regulations / Overweight trucks / Chain of responsibility;EPA waste tracking documentation;Assisting in enforcing Site management plans;Ensuring visitors and contractors are signed in and inducted; Identifying incoming waste streams and subsequent production of weigh tickets;Effective cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, end of day cash reconciliation & document tracking;Any other duties as required. About you: Previous experience in a weighbridge operation would be advantageous, but not essential – full training provided;A sound knowledge of the Waste industry is desirable;Intermediate level computer (MS Office) skills;Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills;Demonstrated cash handling and cash balancing experience;A good understanding of the Adelaide metropolitan area. Your excellent and positive customer service skills both face to face and over the phone, together with strong communication and ability to learn quickly will see you succeed in this role.You will be joining a fantastic team who provides ample support and encouragement, and full training will be provided. As such, experience in all of the above is not necessary.
