Our Service:The Parramatta Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC) service model is tailored to the needs of the local community and offers a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support to provide a warm, welcoming and high-quality experience including: immediate mental health support for people requiring short-term mental health and wellbeing support.

Psychoeducation) and therapeutic management for individuals and groups in consultation with multidisciplinary teamProvide support and advice to family members, significant others, health care professionals and support staff as appropriate Liaise with referring organisations, including developing referral pathways with local General Practices and other health services Requirements:Registration as a Nurse Practitioner (endorsed Mental Health) with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 with a current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation AgencyMaster of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)Current Prescriber Number & Credentialed status with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN)Demonstrated clinical competence as per the national competency standards for Nurse Practitioners and experience as a Mental Health Nurse PractitionerDemonstrated knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service StandardDemonstrated experience in the provision of crisis careHighly developed interpersonal skills, including using reflective practice principlesDemonstrated understanding of the issues relevant to people with mental illness (including those from a CALD or First Nations background)Significant clinical experience in an acute, sub-acute or other setting in which crisis care is a core component of service deliveryMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCCMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance Stride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
