For further information, please click on: Discounted fares for residents Qantas AU About the roleAs the Manager Public Relations, you will facilitate, lead and support the North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) in the pivotal role of ensuring consumer and carer participation and engagement is embedded within the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all NWHHS services, activities and initiatives.Promote and provide professional communications and engagement services including communications, media relations, events, marketing, community and stakeholder engagement to dedicated business areas, through the development and maintenance of effective and meaningful business partnerships aligned to and integrated with the NWHHS strategic objectives.Requirements:Whilst not mandatory a relevant tertiary qualification such as Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Media will be well regarded.Previous experience in community and staff engagement.Experience in a health-based environment would be desirable.Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.A period of probation may apply.Interested?Download the Role Description for further information and application/interview preparation.
