This role involves developing and implementing investigation processes and strategies as an appointed Marine Inspector under the Western Australian Marine Act 1982.Your skills and experience will allow you to provide high quality evidence-based advice, comprehensive reports for judicial proceedings, and represent the Department in legal matters related to Maritime prosecutions. Additionally, this role monitors incident trends, contributes to compliance and education strategies, offers safety and environmental advice, and provides training and support to authorized officers.
