Main Purpose: The Sales and Market Analyst is primarily accountable for: • compiling, analysing, and reporting comprehensive sales data to inform strategic decision-making; and • monitoring and evaluating competitive activity, customer trends, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights that guide the sales and marketing teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Compiling, analysing, and reporting sales data Monitoring and analysing competitive activity, customer, and market trends Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses Determining sales potential and making recommendations Preparing detailed reports on consumer behaviour, competitors' activities, outcomes, and sales Monitoring customer bases and identifying new ones Working with the marketing team to inform and develop marketing strategies SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Ambition to progress to Sales management level Strong computer and analytical capabilities Experience in preparing and presenting detailed reports on sales, consumer behaviour, and market trends. Proven experience in compiling and analysing sales and market data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and presenting findings. Ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner. Strong ability to analyse complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
