Reimbursement of relocation expenses for interstate candidates on permanent and long-term appointments (Conditions apply and subject to review and approval) About the Role: The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine provides inpatient care to 120 beds at the University of Canberra Hospital, Specialist Centre for Rehabilitation, Recovery and Research. The University of Canberra Hospital (UCH) is a purpose-built, freestanding subacute rehabilitation hospital located on the University of Canberra campus. UCH forms part of a planned network of ACT Health hospitals and facilities designed to meet the needs of our ageing and growing population. At full capacity UCH will have 140 inpatient beds, 75 day places, and additional ambulatory clinics and services. This will allow some patients to be discharged earlier and still receive the rehabilitation therapy they require. The Canberra Hospital is the principal tertiary referral and teaching hospital for the ACT and the surrounding Canberra Region. The position holder is expected to operate within the Public Sector Management Act (1994), the ACT Public Service Code of Conduct, and the professional requirements specified by the appointee's Specialist College.
