DuPont Water Solutions is seeking an experienced operations leader to support the growth of its Memcor, Desalitech and Oxymem product lines in the Pacific region. Based outside of Sydney, Australia, this position provides technical support to the sellers and is responsible for executing contracts across the region primarily with municipal clients. The functions reporting to this position include application engineering, project management, engineering, process engineering and field service with staff located in both Australia and Singapore.
This role is involved in the complete chain of events from formalizing the commercial offer upfront and bidding projects to negotiating commercial terms and undertaking the execution of the contracts.
Responsibilities include the financial management of the portfolio of projects, including forecasting, delivery of revenue and margin on target, the management and resolution of contract disputes, the approval of cost variances within limits of authority, the organization of the collaboration between internal functions (procurement, production, sales and other functions involved in the process) and clients, consulting engineers and other third parties.
This position is also responsible for the establishment of, the maintenance and the compliance with internal business processes and for maintaining and sustaining the ISO accreditation of the site.
20-25% travel primarily in ANZ and Singapore/ Korea/ SE Asia.
Qualifications
Required include a bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field with significant experience with similar technologies delivered under bespoke contracts as projects that could include parts or assemblies fabricated by DuPont or by third parties, strong leadership and organization skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to adapt to and integrate cultural nuances.
