What’s the role?
* Ensure clients receive culturally appropriate services, the use of interpreters and commitment to cultural education and communication
* Ensure records are maintained through accurate data collection, appropriate recording and file keeping
* Ensure the highest quality services is provided through continuing professional development, participation in clinical and cultural supervision
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for people
* Relate to people in a manner which is culturally relevant and appropriate to their developmental and cognitive level of functioning and provide services in a friendly manner
Is this the right role for you?
* Tertiary degree (or equivalent qualification) in Psychology
* Current unconditional registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Eligible for Medicare Provider Number
* Public Liability Insurance/ Practising Insurance
* Professional Indemnity Insurance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A strong capability to work independently and as a valued team member
* Current Ochre Card and Criminal History Check
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
