Key Responsibilities: Process hospital billing, including generating invoices and claims to health funds and third parties. Collect and record receipts, monitor outstanding patient debtor balances, and process write-offs. Liaise with internal departments and external organizations to ensure effective patient billing and claims management. Prepare and run periodic and ad-hoc financial reports, including end-of-month reconciliations. Conduct general cashier activities, including cash handling and customer inquiries. Assist with debt management matters and provide clerical support to the Revenue and Finance Services division. What We're Looking For: Experience: Demonstrated experience in hospital or medical billing and receipting functions. Skills: Strong analytical skills with accurate and efficient data entry capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerised accounting systems. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with a diverse range of customers. Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, managing high volumes of work effectively. Integrity: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
