We are seeking an experienced Grounds and Maintenance Assistant to complete various maintenance and garden duties around our school.The successful applicant/s will provide support and assistance to the maintenance, grounds, and services functions of the School.DutiesGarden maintenanceGeneral maintenance; repair locks, patch plaster, paint, basic plumbing repairsEnsure grounds are kept to a high standard, leaf blowing, mowing, picking up rubbish, cobweb removal, and general repairs.Move and assembly of office furniture.Assisting with event set up.Many other varied duties as required.Essential Selection CriteriaKnowledge and experience with maintenance work such as plumbing and basic irrigation repair.Knowledge and/or experience with gardening requirements.Experience in a similar role.Teamwork and great communication.Neat and tidy personal appearance.Excellent organisational skills.Reliable, flexible, and punctual approach to your work.Current Driver’s license full C class essential.Ability to perform physical requirements of the role.Value safety as a priority in the workplace.Come be a part of our international school community and help us maintain the excellence and safety that our institution stands for.At ISWA, we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children, and we are dedicated to this cause.
