Management Accountant – Hiking and Mountain Biking Trails

Located in beautiful Margaret River, our head office is on the trails with hiking, running, and riding in all directions. We also have teams working remotely across Australia and Canada in a number of equally amazing locations.
We are currently looking for our next legend – a Management Accountant – to provide financial support and crucial insights to guide our business decisions.
The position:
This position is intended to be Permanent Full-Time; however, we will consider Permanent Part-Time for the right candidate.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for:
* Financial Reporting -Delivering timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports;
* Performance Insights -Providing actionable financial insights to enhance Common Ground Trails’ performance and support informed decision-making;
* End-to-End Creditor Management -Managing the full creditor management cycle, including the initiation of a new Purchase Order process, processing Purchase Orders, timely allocation of costs, managing cost variations, Purchase Order liability management and accruals, handling/review of payments to creditors, and resolving inquiries;
* Job Management System Management -Leading the management of the financial module of Procore, including the Purchase Order system rollout/lead, interface and mapping with the existing Finance System, and financial reporting;
* Power BI Skills -Developing dashboards and reports to empower key stakeholders with critical financial data.
Our perfect candidate will have:
* A professional accounting qualification such as a bachelor’s degree/CPA/CA in finance/accounting;
* Experience in management accounting, creditor management, and system implementation;
* Strong financial reporting expertise, particularly in project-based environments;
* Experience with Procore or similar Job Management System;
* Proficiency in Power BI for financial analysis and reporting;
* A proactive and driven attitude and approach.
