Job Summary
A Speech Pathologist is required to join our team in the Mackay region, providing exceptional clinical skills to make a difference in the lives of clients and foster the development of others within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity to perform ADL's and IADL's.
* Use clinical observations and standardized assessments to formulate treatment goals.
* Participate in training and receive formal 1:1 supervision.
* Engage in monthly peer group supervision with the wider QLD team.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of OT's, Physio's, EP's, Psychologists and BSP's.
About You
We seek a passionate Speech Pathologist with:
* Current membership with SPA.
* A passion for supporting people with a disability.
* An interest in working with people of all ages and abilities.
* The ability to work autonomously out in the community while linking in with a larger multi-disciplinary team.
* A valid Driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
