Job Description - Electrical Foreman
UGL Transport Major Projects division is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join the team in Melbourne and be part of mission critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise all site activities allocated to construction team members, ensuring safe working practices in accordance with client safety systems and processes.
* Plan & ensure environmental management of construction activities in accordance with client's environmental management systems and processes.
* Ensure team members complete allocated projects in accordance to specifications of the project.
* Planning of all construction activities in consultation with the Project Engineer, including the setting of priorities and allocation of available resources to ensure objectives and deadlines are met.
* Compliance with electrical fit out, testing & commissioning activities.
* Quantify, control, receipt and issue of materials required for the timely completion of projects.
* Coordinate, prepare and liaise with appropriate colleagues in order to commission new works and alterations to existing systems.
About You:
* Experience on large mission critical infrastructure project or building services projects.
* At least 5 years' experience as a licenced electrician working in a construction-related environment.
* Demonstrated leadership of small teams.
* Any relevant tertiary qualification in related industry discipline preferred.
* White card.
* Australia Drivers license.
* Strong communication skills both written and oral.
