We are seeking a dynamic Head of Department (Secondary) Student Support to join our student support team in providing exceptional support to students with wellbeing, learning, and complex learning needs. The role will encompass leading a team of staff, alongside existing Heads of Department in the Student Support team.
This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis for a period of 6 months unless otherwise determined.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Lead and manage year level CSI (Roll class) teachers;
* Lead and manage year level student support team to support all students;
* Contribute to weekly student support meetings with year level team (SWD case management / whole cohort);
* Analyse cohort specific data, to collaborate with school team to assist with the development and implementation of appropriate tiered intervention strategies, including tracking academic engagement, wellbeing, uniform, behaviour, attendance, and positive reinforcement;
* Promote a culture of learning across the student cohort;
* Build positive relationships and partnerships with and between students, parents / carers, staff, community, and external agencies;
* Work with Administration to manage and support student's behaviours and wellbeing, including behaviour follow up;
* Line management of other support roles and portfolios;
* Lead and oversee co-curricular and extra-curricular programs to build school culture and support school vision;
* Identify and celebrate growth and achievement for students and staff.
