Pathfinder Recruitment are excited to bringing on a great opportunity for a Technical Support Officer to join a well-known Sydney based Accounting Firm. Executing strong communication skills, you will be working across the business to assist with a range of IT support solutions.
About you
Ideally you have over 5 years’ experience in technical support, leveraging a range of technologies such as Office 365, Windows, Azure, and Active Directory. You should have an optimistic work approach and be able to implement strategic changes that align with the business’s needs. As well as be able to design, develop and lead infrastructure improvements and upgrades to internal systems. In the office it is expected that you maintain the utmost professionalism and demonstrate effective time management.
Key skills
* 5+ years’ experience in IT Network and Desktop roles
* Previous experience in Accounting Software’s such as Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB
* Networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls
* Actively contributes to meetings, leading discussions and delivering presentations
* Continually maintaining the internal knowledge base with up-to-date information
* Monitor IT systems performance, identify potential threats, and implement security measures.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
* In the past has lead technology improvement initiatives that better customer service
* Previous experience working for a professional services company
Requirements
* Bachelor and/or Diploma in IT or equivalent or industry certifications
* Full working right in Australia with no restrictions
