How you will make contributions that matter
We’re looking for an experienced and customer-centric Retail Sales Assistant to join our AG Warehouse in Warragul. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and fostering strong relationships with customers, providing them with the best advice around agricultural products in store.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing high level sales support and assisting with customer enquiries to drive sales and satisfy customer farming requirements
2. Point of sale general daily transactions
3. Some administrative tasks including invoicing, scanning, data entry
4. Store set-up and merchandising, including stocktaking and ordering of products
5. Some lifting may be required at times
The standard hours for this role will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, with the requirement to work some Saturday shifts from 9am – 12pm.
Whilst this role is a full-time position, part-time working 4 days/week will also be considered.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
6. Previous experience providing a high level of customer service within the retail industry
7. Farming knowledge (preferred but not essential)
8. Exceptional communication and rapport building skills
9. Comfortable with administrative tasks and using software applications
