The role
Reporting to the Director, Communications, Strategic Communication Branch, you will be the linchpin in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships and communication outputs for the Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ), Queensland Health. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting and executing meticulous work plans aligned with the core priorities of this department. Skilful negotiation will be your forte as you guide clients through the strategic assessment and prioritisation of both planned and unexpected communication projects. Managing numerous concurrent initiatives, you will provide expert oversight, ensuring resources are adeptly allocated based on the evolving needs of the department and diverse clients.
Your role will involve steering the development and implementation of holistic communication and engagement strategies. You will orchestrate seamless collaboration by acting as a liaison between diverse teams such as strategy, research, communications, marketing, online, social media, creative, and strategic engagement functions. Furthermore, your sharp analytical skills will be pivotal in identifying emerging and contentious communication challenges, enabling you to devise tailored communication solutions that effectively address these issues. Your contributions will be central to the department's dynamic communication landscape.
