Your tasks
1. Plan and optimize work scope as follows: Prepare installation work packages. Participate in the development of optimization method for assembly, if necessary. Request material and tooling and ensure availability at the work front.
2. Analyze and identify potential safety and quality risks; mitigate in planning and execution.
3. Effectively communicate work plans with subcontractors.
4. Monitor and report progress.
5. Identify non-conformities and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
6. Proactively identify, report and document scope deviation (claim and change order), risks and chances.
7. Collect One Point Lessons (OPL) and report improvement opportunities.
8. Review subcontractor’s labor, materials, and equipment.
9. Establishing a safe working environment.
10. Support the site team with the quality management system; resolve non-conformities, plan inspections, and participate in lesson learned.
Your profile
11. Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
12. Previous demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the field of large hydro power projects or in similar industries. Construction and/or E&M experience is required.
13. Proficient technical and operational knowledge of balance of plant mechanical systems such as Station Cranes, Water Systems, piping, HVAC, Draft Tube Gates, Water level & flow measuring, Air Systems, Oil Handling System, Fire Protection, HVAC, Workshop Equipment, and fire protection systems.
14. Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
15. Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
16. Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
17. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
Job requirements:
18. Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and police check.
19. Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.
20. Ability to work in an underground environment for an extended period.
21. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
Site conditions :
22. A typical roster of days in, 7 days out.
23. Camp accommodation is provided.
