About the Role:
We're seeking a Content Navigator to work with journalists and producers on serving changing audience needs. This role will be embedded in our news team, focusing on content management and editorial process enhancements.
* Contribute to state news teams through editorial meetings and projects
* Collaborate with content creators on managing and sharing content
* Assist in selecting and retaining audio-visual content per policies and guidelines
* Resolve technical and non-technical issues throughout the content lifecycle
You'll work closely with content makers to ensure the best content can be easily found anytime, anywhere. As an integral part of a state news team, you'll bring new ideas to enhance production and editorial value.
About You:
We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy, deadline-driven environment and is comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You'll need:
* Relevant qualifications or experience in Library/Archives/Preservation/Broadcast
* Knowledge of content management principles across various media formats
* Understanding of content value for re-use and production
* Strong problem-solving and time management skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
