Role : D365 Finance Functional Consultants Experience: 10 – 15 years, Work location: Melbourne Job Description - Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and testing of key Microsoft Dynamics Core Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, and Fixed Assets. Plan, manage, and execute complex finance projects while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across various business units. Drive finance effectiveness objectives using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). Identify system gaps and, when necessary, create functional design documentation to address these gaps. Work closely with key stakeholders to achieve critical business objectives. Support data migration efforts and mapping exercises. Collaborate with Developers to assist in data integration design and testing between Dynamics 365 and external systems. Define and design finance reporting solutions. Provide training to business users on the functionality of finance modules and any implemented enhancements. Align and manage stakeholder expectations around ERP solutions and enhancement requests. Qualifications: At least 10 years of experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant. Prior experience in the retail and supply chain domains is required. Involvement in at least three full-cycle D365 F&O implementations, including post-Go Live support. Proven expertise in delivering training and consulting on Finance Modules and Implementations. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously across various business units. Strong business analysis skills with the ability to document business requirements, identify gaps, and create functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in an Agile product team with frequent interactions with both consulting teams and business users. Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications. Proficient in creating project artifacts, including FDDs, KDDs, and SDDs. Experience working with Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
