About the role
As Senior Insurance Broker at Fortis Risk Solutions (FRS), you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional insurance broking services to our valued clients. This Senior Insurance Broker/Team Leader combines managing the day-to-day operations of our team with delivering tailored insurance solutions to our business and individual clients. Your strategic approach and strong customer focus will be instrumental in driving the continued growth and success of our brokerage.
What you'll be doing
* Provide expert insurance broking advice and services to existing and prospective clients
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance needs
* Research the insurance market, identify the most appropriate products and policies to meet client requirements
* Negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible coverage and terms for clients
* Provide exceptional customer service, handling client inquiries and claims in a timely manner
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless, consistent experience for all clients
* Lead and inspire a team of young brokers for future development
* Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and business growth strategies
* Have fun and bring a positive attitude to the business
What we're looking for
* 3-5 years’ experience as an insurance broker, with a strong understanding of the Insurance Brokerage industry
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in plain language
* Proficient in the use of insurance broking software and systems such as Insight, Sunrise and SCTP platform
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage the day-to-day operations of an office and team
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations
* Experience in coaching/guiding/supporting people (or strong desire to develop in these areas)
* English and Mandarin bilingual skill is preferred
