Job Description As an integral member of the brand marketing division, the Associate Brand Manager will support the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and growth of our product portfolio in retail. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, research and development, and finance, to ensure brand alignment and achieve business objectives NOTE: Some travel may be required for this role. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Contribute to the agreed sales targets and brand team goals for the Ocular Surface business - Contribute to brand plan development and tactical implementation - Lead promotional material development and messaging to support Key Account Manager(s) and trade advertising - Lead artwork development to support banner group promotional activities - Coordinate the communication of product related information to wholesalers, banners, pharmacies and where applicable, consumers - Support promotional focus and efforts of the contract pharmacy field force - Work collaboratively with Glaucoma National Sales Manager(s) for Ophthalmology sales team engagement and positioning of ocular surface brands - Lead material availability through third party material storge and distribution vendor - Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic plan, ongoing tactics and monthly reporting - Coordination of the promotional budget and project spend, including procurement requirements - Coordinate the communication of product related information within the organization - Participate in idea generation and development of cycle meeting agendas and activities - Manage external third-party vendors and meet all related internal procurement and compliance requirements - Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands, including Medicines Australia, MTAA, consumer advertising codes and ethical standards. - Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie's policies and procedures. - Proactively participate in AbbVie's WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times. - Adhere to AbbVie's internal codes of conduct and compliance processes. - Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested. Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or similar - Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales/marketing/project management/administration role, with a focus in healthcare or pharmaceuticals - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills and strategic ability to analyse data to generate actionable insights - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks/ projects - Proven track record of achieving targets/ goals, working independently and as part of a team - Capability to think strategically and success in leading a project and a project team - Excellent knowledge of computer based programs including excel and PowerPoint - Experience within consumer health markets, trade marketing or working in ophthalmology or eye care therapeutics desirable Flexibility and Availability: In line with Australia's 'Right to Disconnect' legislation, we recognise and respect employees' right to refuse contact outside of their working hours, unless such refusal is deemed unreasonable.
