We currently have an opportunity for a diligent Stock Hand to join our Distribution team in Summer Hill. As Stock Hand you will be responsible in ensuring DC activities are carried out effectively and efficiently. This is a Full-Time opportunity located in our support Office – Summer Hill, Sydney.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Assist with putting away stock when needed
* Assist with general housekeeping duties when required
* Assist with daily picking of stock
* Other ad-hoc duties as per instructed and required by management across all DC areas
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES TO CLOSEDOWN STORES
* Process closedown store stock
* Mark-off returned stock and communicate any variances to Supervisors
* Assess stock for write-off or re-ticketing
* Re-ticket and clean stock to be returned to the warehouse
* Allocate of inactive stock when required
* Transfer all allocated stock
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES TO DAMAGED GOODS
* Process faulty/ damaged goods for all divisions
* Assess stock to make decision to write-off or return to supplier
* Process relevant stock back to supplier for credit or replacement
* Ensure stock and paperwork is given to Shipping Department for return to supplier
* Debag and de-ticket of stock to be sent for refining
* Process returned stock from supplier
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES TO WATCH REPAIR
* Process watch repairs to allocated suppliers
* Receive and dispatch repaired watches back to stores
* Ensure all repair queries from stores are resolved
* Liaise with stores and suppliers in relations to all watch repair queries
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES TO WATCH DEPARTMENT
* Receive and record stock deliveries for all divisions
* Match stock to costings
* Liaise with Buyers in relation to follow-up costings
* Put away and refill stock
* Ensure costings are given to accounts department for processing.
* Ensure overseas costings are given for releasing
