Under the leadership of the General Manager of Community Services, you'll spearhead commercial strategies to drive accountability, growth, and profitability within a growing business unit. This is a 12-month fixed term contract. Start date February 2025. This position is based in our Support Office in Darwin. Responsibilities Advise the General Manager on process efficacy regarding continuous improvement; analysis and reporting, project/business planning.Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with departmental goalsEnhance operational processes to improve performance and maximise growthDevelop pricing structures for our projects/businesses earning an incomeConduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans for commercial opportunities for the departmentMonitor performance of commercial activities and prepare reports for the General ManagerIdentify new market opportunities and implement actions to leverage themAssist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoringDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, contractors and suppliers.Collaborate with relevant departments within Community Services and ALPAWhat We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related degreeDemonstrated people management skillsStrong analytical skillsHighly personable, approachable and ability to work with, and meet the needs of the broader business unit.What's on offer 5 weeks annual leave with leave loading at 17.5%Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900 p.a. with additional Meal and Entertainment up to $2,650Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional developmentSupportive company culture and enjoyable work environmentFree office parkingInterested?We'd love to hear from you!
