This role would suit a Speech Pathologist with a passion for paediatrics looking to join a collaborative team. BillyLids is a close-knit, family-owned practice run by two clinician sisters—one a Speech-Language Pathologist and the other an Occupational Therapist—where collaboration and shared values guide everything we do. Our senior SLP has more than 45 years of experience and has a special interest in early intervention with children with physical disabilities, supporting children across settings and assistive technology.
The caseload:
* Dedicated paediatric practice supporting children under 10 and their families
* Responsible for providing evidence-based assessment, planning, and intervention for children.
* Achievable KPI’s- maximum of five clients per day with a soft landing.
* Hybrid model - four in-clinic sessions per day complemented by one community visit.
The benefits:
* Above award salary: $85,000- $120,000 + superannuation, depending on clinical expertise.
* Five weeks of annual leave each year.

Requirements:
* Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology
* SPA registration
* Minimum of 18 months paediatric experience
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check or ability to obtain
* Vaccinated for COVID-19 and influenza
* Full working rights within Australia
* Drivers Licence
* A commitment to working collaboratively within the BillyLids team
* Must be able to build rapport with children and families quickly
* The ability to engage and motivate children of all ages through play or age-appropriate activities, whilst also incorporating playful and adaptive work practices
* Must show initiative and empathy to helping children and their families
* A willingness to participate in peer-to-peer mentoring
* Sound knowledge of child development, and conditions affecting normal development
