Director New Mount Barker Hospital Development
This is a full-time, long-term contract position for a Director to lead the development of the new Mount Barker Hospital.
About the Project
The New Mount Barker Hospital Development project is an election commitment by the South Australian Government. The project involves building a new hospital on the existing site, increasing capacity from 34 beds to 102. The new hospital and health service is expected to be completed by 2027.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assist with the success of the new facility development and service reconfiguration within the context of the engagement strategy and change management.
* Provide leadership, subject matter expertise, and guidance for service and health facility planning, implementing new models of care, and driving system-wide processes to support the redevelopment.
* Responsible for Operational readiness and commissioning in alignment with project timelines.
Requirements
* A dynamic leader with a proven track record in healthcare management, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
* Accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and responsible for guiding this major capital project from concept to completion.
