Our partner is a thriving multinational organisation with 8GW of renewable generation assets under management and is truly on the forefront of Australia's decarbonisation and energy transition vehicle. Job Overview: As the Head of Construction you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects within specified timelines and budget constraints. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards and leading the construction & delivery team. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements. Formulate and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, local communities, contractors, and project team members. Communicate project updates and milestones regularly to keep stakeholders informed. Resource Allocation and Management: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to optimize efficiency. Grow, manage and lead the construction team to full capacity. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. In conjunction with the Owners Engineer, develop and maintain the risk register to manage risks and opportunities on the Project. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet industry standards and company expectations. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to financial plans. Provide regular financial reports to senior management. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure the Project is constructed with high regards to and in compliance with HSE in accordance with the EPC Contract, other agreements, regulatory requirements, principal requirements and the development approvals and conditions contained therein. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project and construction management. Wind farm construction experience is a must. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. This position will be based out of Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
