Electrical Engineering Manager - Coal Mining We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead all electrical activities across a large-scale mining operation in Central Queensland. This permanent, site-based leadership role is critical to ensuring electrical systems are safe, compliant, and support reliable operations across CHPP, accommodation, network infrastructure, and associated facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the design, maintenance, and performance of all electrical systems across site Ensure compliance with statutory and company standards, including Queensland mining regulations Provide technical and strategic leadership to the electrical team and contractors Drive electrical risk assessments, reliability studies, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage capital projects across infrastructure, radio systems, and networks Develop and maintain site-wide electrical maintenance strategies and standards Collaborate with operations, maintenance, projects, and safety teams to align objectives Lead budgeting and resource planning for electrical activities Act as the statutory Electrical Engineering Manager under the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act About You: Previous experience as a Statutory Electrical Engineering Manager at a QLD coal mine.
