Key Responsibilities:
Sous Chefs:
* Supervise cooks and kitchen staff
* Develop and plan menus in collaboration with the Head Chef and Restaurant Management
* Control food and labour costs
* Maintain high standards of quality and presentation throughout the preparation and display of menu items
Cooks:
* Clean food preparation areas and ensure adherence to Australian Health Standards
* Prepare foods according to specifications and accommodate guests with dietary concerns
* Work alongside other cooks during food assembly and communicate effectively with front-of-house employees
* Operate kitchen appliances, portion, arrange, and garnish food based on customer preferences
Requirements:
Cooks:
* AQF Certificate IV or AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job experience
Chefs:
* Above qualifications plus Diploma in Hospitality training
