Job Description: Regional Manager Darwin-Daly Wagait
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Regional Manager to lead the Darwin-Daly Wagait area, joining our dynamic and forward-thinking Regional Development team.
About the Opportunity
The Northern Land Council (NLC) is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and growth, strategically focused on delivering on our commitments and supporting our seven regions.
We are reinforcing our leadership, strengthening our governance, and driving a clear, results-oriented strategy to serve as a powerful advocate for our constituents.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and drive the successful implementation of NLC projects and programs within the Darwin-Daly Wagait Region.
* Play a key leadership role in advancing the NLC's regionalisation objectives, fostering collaboration, and delivering impactful outcomes for the community.
Requirements
* Minimum of four (4) years' operational management experience with demonstrated experience in remote/ regional service delivery.
* Understanding of the Aboriginal Land Rights (NT) Act 1976 and other legislation relevant to the land interests of traditional owners and Aboriginal communities, as managed by the NLC.
* Solid knowledge of financial management (including budgets, procurement practices, variance reporting, funding reporting).
* High level cross-cultural, interpersonal and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively liaise, engage and coordinate across an array of stakeholders (internal, traditional owners and external organisations) to build productive working relationships.
