About the Role:
Ventia's Whole of Government Facilities Contract provides a range of specialist cleaning services to industry, government and commercial businesses.
This role involves ensuring electrical equipment testing & tagging is up-to-date and meets safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test and Tag Equipment: Test and tag various equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, buffers, chargers) to ensure compliance with regulations (AS3760).
* Coordinate with Operations: Coordinate with operations for high-volume and scheduled testing periods.
* Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of tested equipment and report required repairs via company systems.
* Store Out-of-Commission Equipment: Store out-of-commission equipment and update relevant platforms with tag dates and equipment status.
* Manage Test Equipment: Manage servicing, calibration, and storage of test & tag equipment, ensuring cleanliness.
* Consumeables Management: Maintain stock of consumables for testing and tagging.
Requirements:
* Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
* Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Licence: Valid NSW Driver's Licence required.
* Certifications: Willingness to undergo security clearance and Working with Children Check.
