The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ’s and three Dassault Falcon 7X’s Business Jets.Your RoleAs the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation and planning of the activities and resources to meet the 34 SQN and customers’ requirements daily, both at Canberra and away base, including overseas’ tasking. You will also:Be responsible for the operational and ground handling activities.Lead 145 activities and ensure compliance with all relevant OEM, regulatory, and company procedural requirements related to SPA maintenance activities.In conjunction with SPA CAM Services, ensure that un-scheduled maintenance activities are effectively performed when the aircraft is at home or away from base.Liaise with 34 SQN and SPA-MU to ensure SPA operational service delivery meets customer expectations.Please note that this role is located in Canberra. Relocation will be required for those outside of location.
