We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Social Care Coordinator to join our team at Wattleglen in Sale, Victoria. This position is on a permanent full-time basis. Respect also has home care services in multiple states, and more than 700 units in different retirement villages and independent living communities.As Social Care Coordinator, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational matters of the social care program at the facility. The Social Care Coordinator works in conjunction with the General Manager to provide and direct social care programs which are responsive, enriching, and reflective of resident needs and requirements.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the efficient delivery and continual review of resident focused therapy, social and recreational activitiesLead and organise the social care staff and volunteersFoster and promote social connectedness and actively engage and liaise with the local community, community groups, schools, and sporting organisationsFacilitate resident meetings and encourage participation in planning and program developmentMaintain social care inventory and other resources.
