About the role Join our successful and tight-knit team in our Newcastle branch as a Customer Service Representative. You will be working closely with both our Sales and Operations teams to ensure customers have a positive experience with InfraBuild Steel Centre. Key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming the first point of contact for inquiries and provide exceptional service via email and over the phone. Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Provide accurate quotes and address general customer queries, converting them into sales opportunities where possible. Maintain stock levels and check invoices. Continuously look at new ways of improving customer experience. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced sales/customer service representative, who has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems and provide customer solutions. Ideal skills and experience include:
Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or logistics. Ability to build relationships with existing customers and resolve issues effectively and efficiently. Detail-oriented and committed, prioritizing accuracy and efficiency in every task. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience using Salesforce or other CRMs highly regarded. Experience in SAP ERP is desirable.
