What will your typical day look like? As an Automation Tester, you will: - Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts – Use tools like Selenium, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or similar frameworks. - Test Planning and Execution – Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create test plans, and execute automated test cases. - Collaborate on CI/CD Integration – Help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality and faster releases. - Support Documentation – Assist in documenting test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. - Engage with Team Members – Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of testing requirements. - Improve Testing Processes – Learn and implement new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills and Experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality. - Experience with any of the automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress). - Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps. - Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. - Interest in learning BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber.
