Dietitian (AHP1/2) - Sessional, Casual Role in Rehab, Aged & Palliative Care at SA Health
Embark on a rewarding journey as an AHP1/2 Dietitian with the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, delivering personalized nutritional care across rehabilitation, aged care, and palliative settings. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of patients and their families.
About the role:
Reporting to the Director, Nutrition and Dietetics (Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Division), some of your duties as the AHP1/2 Dietician may involve:
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive clinical dietetic service for inpatients & outpatients of Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care (RAP) Division.
* Demonstrate an evidence-based approach to practice and supervise students on clinical placement.
* Assist with research and special projects as a member of the RAP Division & Nutrition and Dietetic Department.
Please note: This position is multi-classed as either AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and/or experience.
About you:
* Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
* Current knowledge and experience in clinical nutritional management of adults & the elderly.
* Experience in the use of evidence-based approach in day to day practice.
* Experience in planning and implementing nutrition education programs for patients and carers.
* Experience in interaction with large scale food service systems.
