About The Role
Are you ready to take control of your career? We're currently seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with clients to solve operational challenges using our client’s optimisation and automation software, tailored for upstream oil and gas. You will help build custom user-defined functions and work with their software team to develop new features that enhance productivity.
This is an initial 6 month contract role, 5 days a week. The role is based in Brisbane city with minimal travel required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on support to clients, helping optimise their operations using the client's software.
* Build and troubleshoot user-defined functions to meet specific client needs.
* Collaborate with the software team to drive innovation and feature development.
* Deliver training and technical support to clients on software utilisation.
* Stay current with advancements in automation and optimisation within the oil and gas industry.

About You
To be successful you will need experience in the following:
* Exposure to one or more of the following areas: drilling, completions, workovers, GIS, gathering networks, or project planning.
* Ability to work closely with customers and the software development team.
* A passion for solving complex problems and growing your technical skills.
* You must have Australian Working Rights for this role.
