Financial Controller - Commercial Weir Minerals Artarmon Onsite Purpose of Role : As the Financial Controller - Commercial, you will be responsible for understanding and translating local business needs through the management of financial functions. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will ensure delivery of financial initiatives that will enable and support the business to achieve financial objectives in profitability, cashflow and risk management. This role would be ideal for someone with well-developed commercial astuteness and extensive experience in FP&A, strong collaboration skills across global business functions, well adverse in presenting, process change and managing and analyzing complex data. Partnered with confident decision making, flexible influencing and a focus on priorities and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities: Provide financial expertise to assist Business Units to obtain orders whilst ensuring that the sales pursuit is in line with corporate requirements and achieving adequate margins. Provide advice to the Commercial Directors based on financial and commercial analysis and insights. Participate in the evaluation of strategies to pursue opportunities like launching new products, creation of new service centres, acquisition of new businesses, etc. Manage the preparation of major contract and service reports (costs incurred, costs to complete and analysis) so that informed decisions can be made on time and correct profit take up in the monthly accounts. Lead core FP&A processes including the preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly financial reports for the commercial business units, to enable the making of informed business decisions. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar field. 10yrs experience in a similar role including: Extensive FP&A experience. Sales incentive reporting. Change management & leadership. Extensive experience in financial management with a strong understanding of financial control, reporting, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to lead and develop finance teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical analysis skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
