What you’ll do as a Business Development Manager:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing new business customers for TGE. Whilst developing strategic relationships, you’ll create & develop bespoke proposals, resulting in innovative and scalable solutions, negotiation of contracts, maximising cross selling opportunities etc.
You are motivated and passionate about achieving sales targets. Sales targets are realistic, as such targets have been surpassed in the past couple of years, since forming these talented sales teams.
What are we ideally looking for in a Business Development Manager? What’s important?
* Considerable solution based selling experience (preferably within transport/logistics – industry experience is not essential though)
* More importantly, you take pride in your work, you’re driven/energetic, positive and dedicated
* Microsoft Office suite skills, PowerPoint and Excel especially (intermediate level required for Excel)
* You’re analytical, personable, self-motivated, passionate and personable
* This could be a good steppingstone for someone who is doing internal sales, and wants to be ‘on the road’ instead
* You could also be working within an operations role currently, and you believe that you would make a great BDM
* You’re analytical, personable, self-motivated, passionate and personable
Extra points for the following (not essential though):
* Salesforce experience
* Business degree
This role could be based out of Rockhampton, Gladstone or Bundaberg.
