About the roleAs the Supply Chain & Inventory Manager at Villeroy & Boch, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of the company's supply chain and inventory operations utilizing SAP. This full-time role is based in Alexandria, NSW 2015, and will play a crucial part in supporting the broader warehousing, transport and logistics functions of the business as well as owning the inventory management space.What you'll be doing Developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies to ensure the timely delivery of products and materialsManaging inventory levels to optimize storage, minimize costs and meet customer demand in SAPAnalyzing sales data and forecasting future inventory requirementsOverseeing the procurement, warehousing and distribution of goods through our 3PL partnerLiaising with local suppliers, international colleagues and internal stakeholders to coordinate operationsIdentifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivityMonitoring and reporting on key supply chain and inventory metrics monthly, exporting & working extensively with SAP.Guiding the business and supporting colleagues in all aspects of inventory.Responsible for part of e-commerce E2E order management (including order processing, 3PL coordination, and customer service).Lead the logistics optimization projects in the entire logistics operation, mainly together w/ 3PL to realize process improvement and cost reduction.What we're looking for Significant experience in a senior supply chain or inventory management role, preferably within the own manufacturing, transport or logistics industryDemonstrated expertise in supply chain planning, inventory control and logistics managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external partiesExperience in optimizing inventory management, managing shipping needs & supporting local customer needs.Relevant tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, logistics or a related fieldHigh proficiency in SAP system.What we offerAt Villeroy & Boch, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive work environment.
