About us:63 Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Operational and Administrative staff provide: 24-hour Accident and Emergency care, Hospital Inpatient Care, Residential Aged Care, Community Home Support services, Community Maternal and Child Health Services, Community and Public Health Services (including school health services), Community Alcohol and Drug and Mental Health Services, and Community Chronic Disease Services (including Renal Dialysis).The service also supports a range of General and selected Specialist Outpatient and Allied Health services, including Pharmacy and visiting dental services.About the role:Responsible for providing effective administration support for the Woorabinda Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) including but not limited to human resource, financial, clinical, and administrative information and records, purchasing, supply and asset management functions. The Administration Officer works collaboratively with other members of the Administration and Support Services team and assumes specific responsibility for a number of these areas as delegated. Perform allocated administration support duties across a number of areas of operation as delegated by the Senior Administration Officer. Carry out general clerical duties including, but not limited to, telephone answering services, filing, word processing, and management of information databases. About you: Demonstrated ability to actively participate in and support service development and quality improvement activities. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a team structure with a wide range of staff and members of the public, especially Australian Aboriginal People. Demonstrated ability in the use of computer-based spreadsheet, data and word processing and relevant patient information systems. Demonstrated ability to follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures, internal and state-wide guidelines. What we offer: An hourly rate between $48.51 - $53.95 p.h.
