About the Opportunity: We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our field operations. This role will be on a 14 days on, 7 days off roster in the Pilbara region. Reporting directly to the Client Lead Supervisor, this pivotal role involves ensuring high safety standards, managing daily operations, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring both leadership and hands-on crane experience. Collaborate with the Client Lead Supervisor to manage operational staff, including crane operators and riggers, both permanent and labour hire. Provide proactive leadership and take ownership of site activities to exceed company and client expectations. Ensure the safety performance of crane crews during shutdown activities is up to standard. Oversee crane teams to ensure they meet all KPIs for the company and clients, including accurate data entry into safety management systems. Regularly attend meetings with the Client Lead Supervisor and other key personnel to ensure alignment on operational goals. Participate in staff performance assessments and recommend training as necessary. Ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures. To be successful for this role you must possess the following: Minimum of 2 years of proven leadership experience in mining services, oil & gas, or armed forces, with a strong mechanical aptitude and crane operation experience. Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships across various organizational levels and with key clients. Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills. Relevant leadership qualifications and sound computer literacy. Australian residency with full working rights.
